(COVINGTON, La.) — The Wrestling Wolves recently went to Shreveport, LA to compete in the 2018/2019 State Wrestling Tournament to test their metal against the top schools in the state.  St. Paul’s placed fifth overall, finishing only six points behind the third place spot.

“Overall I thought we wrestled pretty well. We were in the hunt for third place, had 7/14 place top six, had three underclassmen make the state finals, and had a state champion and the tournament’s “Outstanding Wrestler.” Head Coach Matt Pinero said.
