(COVINGTON La.) — St. Paul’s defeated Hammond in an unsettlingly close Homecoming game last Friday night. The final score was 24-10, but the game was tied in the fourth quarter after the Tornadoes recorded a touchdown and two-point conversion.

“It’s not just onto next week,” trainer Owen Crombie said. “This is going to be a brutal week of practice. We’ve got to play better to have any chance of beating better teams,” said Crombie.

The Wolves forced multiple turnovers but turned the ball over almost just as much. Coaches and players showed their frustration on the sidelines.
