TS/Hurricane Isaac Advisory

9:30 am Saturday, September 1 UPDATE

St. Paul’s has been cleared to re-open on Tues., Sept. 4, which will be an all-period day (A-G). The teacher formation day formerly scheduled for that date has been cancelled.

The football game against Edna Karr formerly scheduled for Fri., Aug. 31 has been rescheduled for today at 3pm in Hunter Stadium. However, there has been a change in the lineup, and the Wolves will now be pitted against John Curtis instead of Edna Karr.

The Times Picayune described the upcoming match-up as follows: “The game between St. Paul’s and Curtis pits two of the state’s top-ranked teams. Curtis is No. 1 in Class 2A while St. Paul’s is No. 5 in Class 5A. The Wolves will be putting a 29-game regular-season winning streak on the line.”

St. Paul’s will follow the closing schedule of the St. Tammany Parish Public School system.

Accordingly, St. Paul’s is OPEN today, Monday, August 27, but St. Paul’s will close Tuesday, August 28, and Wednesday, August 29 due to the threat of Tropical Storm/Hurricane Isaac. We will remain in contact with the National Weather Service and the St. Tammany Parish Office of Emergency Preparedness.

We will update this website once the storm passes with information on the reopening of school.
