Starting this year, students are no longer able to find Records Secretary Erin Abney, otherwise known as Mrs. Erin, in the Administrative Office due to her relocation to the former bookstore across the hall.
“We decided to make the switch across the hall so that there would be less people crowding the main office,” stated Abney.
Last year, the bookstore relocated to LaSalle Hall and now has more space to store materials to sell. Abney’s new office is bigger than her old office and has given her plenty of free space. She made the switch to across the hall so that the main office would no longer be clustered with students. She generally deals with all student matters, from checking in or out to being late for school. From now on, these student matters should be reported to her window facing the entrance of the main school building.

“I like how Mrs. Erin now has her own office. I don’t have to go to the main office where people were always in line for detentions. It’s a lot easier now,” said senior Brandon LeBlanc.
Formerly, students standing in line to check in or check out would have to share the room with those waiting to see Coach Ken Sears for discipline purposes. With this change, fewer students will be in the Administrative Office. Now, the office should be less crowded for students and faculty, and discipline issues can be handled with more privacy.
Athletic Secretary Claire Coutrado has now taken over Abney’s former spot in the Administrative Office. She is Athletic Director Craig Ketelsen’s main assistant and the school’s general secretary. Coutrado, otherwise known as Mrs. Claire, was formerly located on the second floor of the main school building.
