This time in the semester is a time of lack of sleep and added stress for both teachers and students as they get last minute assignments turned in and prepare and take exams. Is some of this stress self-inflicted?

Some would say this added stress is because students need the extra grades because they slack off during the rest of the school year. However, teachers also share in the stress. They have to grade more projects and tests, as well as make exams and then grade them. Despite all of this, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

From Dec. 21 through Jan. 6, students and teachers will be on break. This gives them all a time to relax and get ready for the second semester.
