Looney Tunes is one of the most popular animated comedy short film series of all time. Many people remember the saying “That’s all Folks” and “What’s up, doc?” Many of the characters are well-known and amazing. However, some of the characters stand out more than the rest.

5. “Don’t Call Me Doll.” Lola Bunny – Lola is a more recent character, first appearing in “Space Jam” in 1996. She has been seen in “The Looney Tunes Show” and many other films. Her popularity has mainly come from her looks. In 2020, she was named the most attractive cartoon character in the world. She is also Bugs Bunny’s girlfriend, and she is Bug’s first love interest. Over the years she has gained more fame and popularity. Her status as Bug’s girlfriend only helps her reputation, but she hasn’t played as much of an important role in Looney Tunes history.

4. “That’s all Folks.” Porky Pig – He is the first character created by the studio, appearing in 1935. He is the oldest continuing Looney Tunes character. He has been seen in many episodes, movies, shows, and even outros. Sophomore Parker McCollum says, “Porky Pig is one of my favorite characters, and his stutter makes him funnier.” He also starred in “Porky Pig and Friends.” He is also the star of the video game, “Porky Pig’s Haunted Holiday.” He is ranked here because he isn’t that well known although he has played an important role in the career of Looney Tunes.

3. “I think you’re pretty tough, don’t I.” Daffy Duck – He is not as old as some others with his first appearance being in 1937. He is now a main character of Looney Tunes after his appearance as a side character. He has been in many different episodes, shorts, and movies. The only thing he has that is the same as the original is his voice. He has collaborated with many other characters but isn’t always the most important character in the film. His popularity comes from his lisp. Although he is a main character of the show, this doesn’t make him deserve the top spot, but it does get him a very high ranking.

2. “Meep meep.” Road Runner – Road Runner is different from the other characters. He does not talk, but that doesn’t mean he can’t outsmart and outplay the other characters. He is always running from Wild E. Coyote. This duo was created in 1949. He continues to defy the laws of physics and run through pictures on walls. Road Runner has only ever been caught by Wild E. Coyote once but has never eaten or tasted him. Road Runner continues to avoid all of the AMC weapons his adversary uses against him. His witts and speed propelled him ahead of the other characters and got him this spot.

- “Eh, what’s up, Doc?”Bugs Bunny – This famous figure’s preliminary version was made in 1938 and his official version was created in 1940. He is one of the most intelligent characters using his surroundings and his witts as his weapon. He has starred in more than 160 short films between 1940 and 1964. Tyler Smith says, “Bugs Bunny is one of the funniest, smartest, and most popular characters in the Looney Tunes series.” Since then, he has starred in many movies, TV shows, and other media. Over the years, not only has his popularity changed but his appearance too. He has gone through many different phases and has starred with many other characters. He continues to outsmart his opponents with his quick thinking. Simply put, Bugs Bunny is what many think of when they hear or see Looney Tunes. This is why he has earned this ranking as the best Looney Tunes Character.
