Is RISE Haunted House as Frightening as It Seems?

RISE has been one of the most visited haunted houses on the Northshore and contains many thrilling surprises. Many people look forward to Halloween and attending a variety of different haunted houses.

One of Louisiana’s scariest dark attractions is just minutes from downtown Hammond, which is about 20 minutes away from Saint Paul’s. It’s also 45 minutes from major cities like Baton Rouge and New Orleans.

RISE, being located in Tickfaw, is in a very discrete location, which is fitting for a haunted house. The main goal of haunted houses is to surprise their guests and at the very least give them a spooky feeling.

RISE has been going strong for over ten years and is seen as one of scariest haunted houses in Louisiana. RISE is known for their very realistic sets, over-the top actors and professional make-up, which all play a huge role in making it a thrilling experience.

RISE offers a haunted hayride for those who fear the haunted house. This is unique among haunted houses.

“There is no other haunted hayride in the state of Louisiana,” says Taylor Dubois, the casting director for the RISE attraction. “So we decided we wanted to be the first.” To their surprise, the haunted hayride was the number one attraction that attracted tourists to attend RISE last year.

RISE has brought back one of their best experiences yet, which is called “Zombie Paintball.” it consist of guests throwing and shooting paintballs at unsuspecting zombie victims from a double decker military truck.

The most feared couple at RISE are the two men in butcher outfits wearing pig masks with chainsaws. They both make the experience so much more enjoyable by slowly walking toward unsuspecting customers with their chainsaws constantly running while they’re headed right at them!

Every cast member and actor make the RISE experience very special and remembering. Year-round changes, practice and hard work makes RISE a very popular haunted house and to remain one of the best haunted houses in south Louisiana.

If trick-or-treating isn’t cutting it, RISE haunted house is the place to be for thrill-seekers.
