Jazz Fest 2013 Lineup Revealed

After months of speculation by music lovers all over the world, the lineup of musicians for the 2013 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival has been officially revealed. With information available on nojazzfest.com, the annual Jazz Fest will run from April 26-28, and then from May 2 to May 5. Whether a pop fan, a rocker, a rap lover, or someone who just wants a good time with great music, the Festival is sure to have something for everyone this year.

Though Jazz Fest has always been about cultivating the local music scene of southern Louisiana, there have always been big name headliners to attract fans from farther away. Some of the biggest names performing on the weekend of April 26 include John Mayer, Band of Horses, Billy Joel, the Dave Matthews Band, Earth, Wind & Fire, and more. As always, there will be a huge amount of secondary acts, as well as local bands, that are sure to be a delight.

For the weekend of May 2, some of the highlights include Willie Nelson, Fleetwood Mac, Phoenix, Frank Ocean, Maroon 5, the Black Keys, and more from local acts and lesser-knowns. No matter what days you choose to visit the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival this year, you’re sure to be in for a good day with food, music, and a great time.

Tickets are on sale at the Zephyr Field box office, UNO Lakefront Arena box office, or from TicketMaster at nojazzfest.com for $45 until January 29, at which point they will increase to $50. Ticket prices at the gate of Jazz Fest will be $65.
