On Oct. 11, students and their grandparents walked, and in a few cases, walkered their way into the Briggs Assembly Center, or BAC, for the annual celebration of Grandparent’s Day.
The celebration was kicked off with a prayer service organized by Campus Minister, Barrett Baumgartner, which included scripture readings, a reflection, and music by the St. Paul’s Liturgical Band. After the prayer service, Brother Ray gave his remarks to the students and grandparents, in which he prompted conversation between the generations by challenging students to describe life at St. Paul’s life to their grandparents.
Post Brother Ray’s reflection, Grandparents and students were met with refreshments and photo opportunities given by the SPS mother’s club.
