Wolf of the Week – Mrs. D

timthumb.phpEnglish Teacher Christina Difilippantonio-Jolley has a B.A. in English Language & Literature with a concentration in Secondary Education from Moravian College. She also has a M.A. in Library and Information Science from Louisiana State University. Known by her students as “Mrs. D,” she has been educating St. Paul’s students since 2006. She has a unique way of teaching, and most of her students find her to be very energized, fun, and full of life. Here are some interesting facts about Mrs. D:

  • If she could be one superhero, she would be wonder-woman because she looks good, she has a lasso of truth, and is strong.
  • Likes to listen to soundtracks
  • Her nickname is Mrs. D, but Mr. Guillory calls her Lady Macbeth because she drop kicks people and sometimes they die.
  • Besides kicking people in the face, Mrs. D is playfully sarcastic, easy going, humorous, and fun to be around.
  • Growing up as a child she wanted to be a teacher, then in school she did not want to be a teacher. Her life changed when she went to college and actually became a teacher.
  • Her favorite Halloween costume was last year when she dressed herself as a viking and her baby son as a dragon from the movie “How to Train Your Dragon.”
  • If a movie was made about her life, she would want Lucy Lawless to play as her. (She kicked people in the head for a living.)
  • On a scale from 1-100, she rates herself as a 98 in Super Smash Bros.
  • Her favorite phrase to say is, “I will drop kick you in the face!”
  • Her favorite things to do out of school is to play with her little son, play video games, and to read.
  • Two things that not many people know about her is that she has no middle name, and she has a dislocated tendon in her knuckle. She now states that she can not punch anyone, and that is where her motto spawned from.
  • Highest bowling score she has ever bowled is a 276, which is quite impressive for anyone. She is the former bowling team coach for the school, as well.
  • One thing that she admires most about life in general is that Jesus gave his life for us.
