This Saturday, April 12, from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m., the St. Paul’s School will hold its annual Crawfish Cook-Off, where 26 teams will have their bayou culinary skills heavily tested. Contestants will put their best servings of crawdads on the line to be tried by distinguished judges, but also each and every guest at the event. The winning chefs will earn a grand prize of great luxury (last year’s prize being a 5-Day vacation to San Destin, Fla., complete with a three-bedroom condo right on the golf course with easy beach access.)
The cook-off relies heavily on attendance, and tickets are on sale now. In fact, it has been made even easier this year to purchase tickets ahead of time with the addition of the cookoff’s new website. Ticket prices are $25 ahead of time and $30 at the door for those over 18 years of age. Teens age 13-17 the prices are $15 advanced and $25 at the gate. The cost is $5 for kids 7-12 and children under 7 get in absolutely free. Click the website link above to get your tickets now and to learn more about the event.
Who will come out on top? It’s up to you to decide!
