An Explanation Finally Arrives for Campus “Aurasma” Posters

(co-written by Thomas Williamson)

aurasmaIn the past few weeks,  several simplistic posters have been appearing on campus. The first was a triangle with the message “Are You Watching?”; the second was a picture of what appears to be a St. Paul’s faculty member with the eyes marked out by the same message. Now, there is a third poster with a similar design.

At first, no one knew how to handle the anomaly, and soon enough, the posters were brushed off by students. Then, Guerilla Wolves showed students that there was more than what met the eye.

The posters have a feature which involves an phone app called Aurasma. The app allows for objects like a one dollar bill change into a video about the moon.

With this revelation, students could finally find out what was behind the simple posters.

Students found out that the first poster had 01110100 01101000 01100101 00100000 01001001 01101100 01101100 01110101 01101101 01101001 01101110 01100001 01110100 01101001 00100000 01110111 01101001 01110100 01101000 00100000 01100001 00100000 01110000 01101001 01101110 01100101 01100011 01101111 01101110 01100101 00100000 01100001 01110011 00100000 01110100 01101000 01100101 00100000 01100101 01111001 01100101 00001010.

The second poster was 01000010 01110010 01101111 01110100 01101000 01100101 01110010 00100000. 01001011 01100101 01101110 00001010.

And, the third poster was 01100001 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 01101110 01100111 01100101 01110010 00100000 01001101 01110010 00101110 00100000 01001101 01101111 01110010 01101100 01100001 01110011 00001010 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 01101110 01100111 01100101 01110010 00100000 01001101 01110010 00101110 00100000 01001101 01101111 01110010 01101100 01100001 01110011 0000101000100000 01111001
