During a recent Pack Time session, each Wolf Pack at St. Paul’s School completed a survey to name the student or faculty member who has visited the most countries, has lived the farthest from America, speaks the most languages, has the most pets, has the most exotic pet, has the most famous living relative, has the longest name, has the shortest name, or has the most siblings.
Pack Time is a whole-school activity during which each student is assigned to a small-group, or “Wolf Pack”, that meets every other Tuesday and does various team-building activities.
The following survey factoids have not been confirmed as factual.
Religion teacher Austin Ashcraft has visited 23 countries, the most of any teacher or student, according to the survey. He has visited: Mexico, Ecuador, Jamaica, Portugal, Spain, Ireland, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Lichtenstein, Poland, the Czech Republic, Bosnia, Croatia, Greece, Ethiopia, Kenya, South Sudan, Tanzania, and the Vatican.
Junior Ryan O’Krepki and Freshman Jack Fleming have each visited 16 countries, the most out of any student, according to the survey. O’Krepki has visited: Spain, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands, Morocco, Australia New Zealand, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, and Canada. Fleming has visited: Mexico, Italy, Germany, England, Russia, Greece, France, Spain, China, Norway, Turkey, the Netherlands Poland, Finland, Denmark, and Sweden.
Joel Fernandez has lived the furthest from the United States of any student or teacher, according to the survey. Fernandez lived in Singapore, which is over 9,500 miles from the United States.
Junior Walden Perry knows seven programming languages, the most languages out of the St. Paul’s students and faculty. Pre-Freshman Nathan Bagnell knows the most non-programming languages in St. Paul’s. Bagnell knows English, Spanish, German, Russian, and French.
Senior Adam Fink has the most pets (not including farms) out of anyone at St. Paul’s. He has 42 pets: 20 fish, 13 finches, four dogs, three hamsters, a parakeet, and a cockatiel.
According to the survey, the most exotic pets owned by St. Paul’s students are a raccoon, a llama, and a deer. These are owned by sophomore Sam Crowton, pre-freshman Robert Nolan, and pre-freshman Cole Lopiccolo, respectively.
Some of the more famous living relatives of St. Paul’s students, according to the survey, include talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, who is related to junior Joseph Almerico; singer Jimmy Buffet, who is related to senior Cody DesPointes; Paris Hilton, who is related to freshman Kenneth Avanzino; former New Orleans Saint Steve Gleason, who is related to Gabe Ingram; and NBA All-Star DeMar DeRozan, who is related to freshman Josh Butler. The Paper Wolf could not confirm any of these familial relationships.
The student with the longest name is sophomore Dominick Paternostro, whose full name is Gaetano Dominick Jesseppi Paternostro III. The student with the shortest name is junior John Paul Lea.
The student with the most siblings is pre-freshman Jack Caminita, who reportedly has 12 siblings.
