(COVINGTON, La.) – On Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015, various alumni from St. Paul’s School took to the campus once again to have a tour and luncheon provided by the alumni association to showcase how their donations have helped fund campus life.
“We’ve seen from our brother schools that general alumni luncheons (have more success),” said Alumni Director Al Nastasi, who organized the event. “We tied it into a president’s assembly, a very nostalgic event for our alumni, and campus tour as well.”
According to Nastasi, luncheons work better for alumni because many alumni have other responsibilities in the evening, and a function during the day would bring in a better attendance.
In addition to the assembly, tour, and luncheon, the alumni that attended went into the theater to discuss the development and future of St. Paul’s. One of the topics discussed was the progress of the new gym, in addition to other ongoing projects that many alumni help fund.
