Wolf of the Week – Ryan Keller

(COVINGTON, La.) The recipient of the coveted title of Wolf of the Week for this week is senior Ryan Keller. Ryan seemed very grateful for the opportunity to be interviewed for this prestigious and exclusive title. Ryan’s most recent claim to fame, aside from all of the academic and extracurricular things he excels in on a regular basis, is that he is the second SPS student  this year to score a perfect 36 on the ACT.

Other facts that make Ryan Keller, well, Ryan Keller, are:

  • His full name is Ryan Joshua Keller.
  • He is involved with Mu Alpha Theta, National Honors Society, Lasallian Youth Leaders, and he is on the basketball team.
  • He maintains an outstanding 4.62 GPA on top of all of this.
  • He enjoys playing ultimate frisbee in his spare time, as well as a couple of games of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3,” if he’s in the mood.
  • He was born on Jan. 1, 1997, in Honolulu, Hawaii, making him the first baby born in Hawaii in 1997.
  • His favorite movie is “The Dark Knight”.
  • If he could describe himself in one word, it would be “methodical” because he is very keen on making and following routines.
  • His favorite color is green.
  • Pizza is his favorite food; although he prefers pepperoni pizza, he does not discriminate.
  • He has a younger brother, Rustin, who is in the band here at St. Paul’s and plays alto saxophone.
  • Everyone who knows Ryan thinks that he is “a pretty chill dude”.
  • The reason behind his success is that he “doesn’t do much else besides schoolwork,” but no one is complaining because he is so good at it.
  • He does not know currently where he wants to go to college, but his perfect score on the ACT should open many doors.
